Draper Temple

Ah, Utah. Where else can you have a temple spire and a church steeple right in your backyard? As this picture illustrates, the LDS Draper temple is quite literally in the middle of a cookie-cutter-house neighborhood.

But if you're facing the temple, you'll forget everything behind you. All you will see is the Lord's house. And it's breathtaking.

Rachel, where did you find these pictures? They are amazing, and yes it was breathtaking to go inside this morning!

Wow, I love the sealing room! Mom said the chandeliers were incredible...wish I could have seen it with you. :)

I wish you could have too. And Mom wasn't exaggerating-- the light fixtures were incredible! I could hardly look away from the sconces in the brides room.

Thank you so much for posting these pictures. I desperately miss having the Temple so close. This one is beautiful and it will run very much like the San Antonio Temple from what I have heard. Awesome!
