Backgammon & Orthodox

So many people ask me what it was really like to live in Jerusalem. Did Jews and Palestinians get along at all? What do people wear there? Did you feel safe? I've decided to publish a photo collection of things I saw when I was just walking around town: no cathedrals, field trips, or touristy stuff, but only the ordinary moments that I observed every day.

This is the first addition. Orthodox Jews walk through the street as Palestinians play backgammon to the right of them. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Old City, Jerusalem, Israel, 2007.
